Award winning silversmith Rachael Osborne designs and makes all of her work from her studio in North Cornwall making silverware and ceramics to commission and for exhibitions.
Her work is directly inspired by her Cornish coastal surroundings and evokes the ruggedness and sheer energy this coastline is synonymous with.
For her latest designs Rachael has used various metals in their molten state thus harnessing the movement and fluidity they possess.
In doing so has developed a very unique technique that has resulted in these stunning bowls.
Each bowl is unique with it’s own personality emulating the ever changing mood of the sea.
Rachael uses pewter with a percentage of shipwreck Cornish tin, salvaged off a mid 18th century steamer that fell victim to high seas off the coast of Lands end.
